Dr. Maimuna Abdullahi Habib is the Chief Executive Officer of Global Security Consultants Limited in Nigeria, a women-led agribusiness empowering rural farmers through Shefarmers initiative in Kano and FCT by off taking of their commodities such as honey, dried hibiscus flowers, sesame seeds, soybeans etc and training and empowerment . Under her leadership, the business has exported lots of 40ft containers to Mexico and Egypt. Women are employed to clean the commodities to export quality.
Dr. Habib is a Fellow of the College of Veterinary Surgeons,Nigeria and holds a Master’s in Preventive Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis and a Ph.D from Ahmadu Bello University, Samari, Zaria.
