About Me
As Chairman of the Standards Council, the governing body of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), I provide strategic leadership and policy oversight in advancing national standardization and quality assurance.
My role involves:
- Leading the development and implementation of policies that promote "Made-in-Nigeria" products and global competitiveness.
- Overseeing the formulation, adoption, and enforcement of national standards across industries.
- Coordinating with stakeholders across government, private sector, and international bodies to strengthen Nigeria’s quality infrastructure.
- Ensuring alignment of SON’s activities with national industrial, economic, and trade development goals.
- Supporting innovation, local content, and the protection of consumer rights through standardization and conformity assessment.
This role reflects my continued commitment to institutional governance, industrial growth, and national development.
